If you grew up on faders, you’ll appreciate the hands-on control that you get with the Avid C|24 control surface. The C|24 integrates seamlessly with Pro Tools, putting the console-feel of 24 100mm touch-sensitive, motorized faders and 24 rotary knobs with LCD displays at your disposal for tracking, mixing, and mouse-less plug-in control. It also gives you the console master section with monitor section and built-in talkback mic that can be auto-enabled. Also like an analog console, the C|24 has 16 preamps with mix/line inputs, and for added integration, an 8 stereo x 2 submixer to connect an interface or analog outboard. As you would expect from a console, the Avid C|24 also has a meter bridge that not only gives you 24 input meters, but also six output meters for mixing 5.1 surround. And that’s just the tip of the “Pro Tools-berg.”
