JRR Sounds Thunderball Collection Upgrade

Upgrade from any individual Thunderball sample set

The Waldorf Blofeld combines the wavetable synthesis of the Wave with the virtual analog technology of the Q, two of Waldorf's most legendary synths. While similar in concept to Waldorf's flagship Quantum synthesizer, the Blofeld's sound is more upfront and overall more aggressive. Where the Quantum sounds luxurious and polite, the Blofeld sounds rough and feisty. The Thunderball Collection also features 12 patches from the Waldorf Streichfett, re-creating the swirling ensemble effect of string synthesizers from the 70s and early 80s.

Thunderball Collection Sample Set consists of 817 patches and 26GB of audio painstakingly sampled through vintage UTC isolation transformers and state-of-the-art Lynx conversion. It is a comprehensive collection of pads, soundscapes, noises, drones, basses, leads, strings, keys, drums, percussion, and effects, all categorized by instrument type.

Installation

To install your new JRR Sounds library, simply move your downloaded zip file to your favorite sample folder and extract it from there. A folder called JRR Sounds will be created and inside it will be the individual folders for any JRR Sounds libraries you have purchased. If you have already purchased JRR Sounds libraries in the past, the new folder(s) will now show up in the JRR Sounds folder that had previously been created.

Once installed, please either drag and drop or open your new library from within your compatible sampler plugin.
