Studio Projects SPM5 500 Series Preamp

Designed by industry visionary Paul Wolff , the SPM5 features a Class A discrete front end while utilizing the same TX100 output transformer used in our Tonelux products.  The  Radiance control adds the right amount of  filtering creating a presence of 2nd order harmonics without increasing your gain.   
 
A 70 Hz HI Pass filter was added to eliminate unwanted low end and rumble from your tracks. An impedance switch allows your preamp to work properly with Ribbon microphones that have a 50 Ohm load, and on the front panel is a combo XLR/1/4" jack making it easy to use different microphones as well as D.I. boxes.
