History

The hardware that inspired DRM-60 was first introduced in the late 1980s and became a staple in both tracking and mastering studios. Known for its lush tube tone and all-in-one versatility, it was often used on drums, vocals, and mix buses. We carefully recreated every stage—from its preamp transformers to the tube compressor section—resulting in one of the richest-sounding hybrid processors in the Antelope Audio library.
